Shanghai, China, October 24-27, 2023 — PTC ASIA 2023, the flagship exhibition for the power transmission and control industry in Asia, successfully concluded its annual gathering at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
The event, postponed from 2022 due to pandemic concerns, attracted a vast array of international participants and showcased the latest innovations and trends in the sector.
Under the theme of “Driving Progress through Technology,” PTC ASIA 2023 brought together over 1,500 exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, and more, showcasing their cutting-edge hydraulic, pneumatic, sealing, gears, motors, and transmission systems. The exhibition covered 11 major categories, reinforcing its position as the second-largest international power transmission exhibition globally.
A highlight of the show was the “Precision Machining Special Zone” in E4 Hall, where nearly 20 enterprises displayed their “first-in-class” and “first-to-market” precision machinery. The zone highlighted the importance of high-quality processing equipment in advancing manufacturing capabilities.
Moreover, the “Digital & Intelligent Hydraulics Plaza” debuted at PTC ASIA 2023, focusing on the digital transformation of the hydraulic industry. This feature area interconnected upstream and downstream players in the hydraulic ecosystem, fostering discussions on engineering machinery, machine tools, agricultural machinery, and other vertical applications.
Concurrently, PTC ASIA 2023 hosted over 30 forums covering topics like smart manufacturing, future factories, green technologies, and more. These events brought together industry leaders, academics, and policymakers to discuss the latest trends and challenges facing the power transmission sector.
The China Hydraulic Pneumatic & Seals Association (CHPSA) and China General Machinery Components Industry Association (CGCIA), alongside Hannover Messe (Shanghai), organized a comprehensive program that catered to the diverse needs of exhibitors and visitors. The show also featured a robust online platform, facilitating global connectivity and trade despite ongoing pandemic restrictions.
